The Master
Bathroom I mentioned in the previous Blog
entry is finished! Can you believe the
incredible job creating the Faux Bois
Burlwood that our Decorative Artists Ricky
Sauls and Michelle Lee ofArtistic Finishesdid for us!
This was a plain maple cabinet that I
designed to resemble the antique piece
shown in the previous post. I want to
thank Sandi Cantrell, owner ofDesigner Granite &
Marblein Madison for spending
literally days locating the perfect slab
of Granite and creating this gorgeous
counter top for us. The entire job was
directed by James Venable, tile man and
general handy guy extraordinaire. The
mirrors are by Richard Cable Interiors as
well as the tile selection, cabinet design
(as mentioned), lighting fixture
selections, tile layout design, and paint
colors. Thanks to my assistant Courtney
Henson for all of her valuable help and
ideas as well. James designed the general
layout and did almost all of the work of
the remodel by himself. Notice the super
high gloss chocolate brown trim. It took a
bit of convincing but the client loves it
and can't imagine anyhting different in
it's place. Now it's on to the bedroom and
attached sun porch!
