Richard Cable is easy to work with decorating your house. He is great helping choose colors. He is honest and tells you what he really thinks will work best for you and what will Not work for you. Richard is patient with his clients and listens to what you are saying. Pleased with every decorating decision he helped me make! 

We moved into our new house last summer. I had a blank canvas (a house with little to no furniture and decorations) to work with. I decided to call in a professional to help me with furnishing/decorating my new home. After reviewing several interior designers online, I decided to work with Richard Cable Interiors. Richard Cable Interiors has supplied professional interior design services to my company, Southern Construction & Design, Inc., and my clients for over four years. We just recently built a 4000 sg ft custom home (floor plan and exterior our design). Richard Cable of Cable Interiors conducted a brief interview collecting our answers to several question regarding style, color, etc. We basically informed him that our family’s style was business casual, that we travel to Europe a lot and like the old world look especially the stone and metal and that our favorite colors were the colors of nature such as green, blues and grays especially as our family are active hikers and we spend alot of time outdoor especially during the fall and winter months. Richard not only helped us make all the style, color and material selection for the house he also selected all of the furniture for the entire house. When he presented the overal package to us we were pleasantly surpised. He had captured our lifestyle and our personal preferences perfectly. The only thing we changed in the whole house was to remove high foot boards on beds-everything else he hit it spot on! Best of all he stayed pretty close to our budget. The house is beautiful inside and out and we get compliments from friends, family and strangers alike. I strongly recommend him to others no matter how large or small your project is.

Working with Richard Cable Interiors has been such an incredible experience. Everyone was professional and were able to format such a great design of the rooms I had been working on. I would not have been able to complete these house projects without them. One of my projects was to pick out curtains for my master bedroom. I was able to go into their store and pick out curtains in a timely manner. Brian came out to my house and measured and installed when they came in. They worked around my schedule and installed them in a timely manner. They respond quickly and efficiently to any messages or emails regarding my projects. My latest project is one that I had been stressed about. I was pregnant with my first child and was trying to plan her nursery. Richard and Brian of Richard Cable Interiors were crucial in selecting styles, materials, features, and colors for our custom home – everything from floors, windows, doors, trim, cabinets, hardware, and granite to shutters, brick, and roofing. Their extensive experience with home design coupled with a library of samples and a powerful computer database of pictures made the selection process easier and quicker. The resulting product was a detailed “Selections Form” documenting our final design-related choices. I should add that Richard is exceptionally adept at integrating styles and colors, and we came to rely heavily on his candid recommendations. Richard helped us design the perfect decor for our new home! From the start he helped us choose brick, flooring, paint colors and cabinets. We moved to Alabama with very little furniture and we now have a house that feels like a home. He was able to see my vision and bring it to life. Both he and Brian are a pleasure to work with!

Richard and Brian re-designed our foyer, study, and dining room. They researched options, presented us with pictures and CAD diagrams of how the new areas would look, and ensured that our final selections worked well together. They flexed to meet with us for hours on weekdays or weekends, whatever worked best for our schedule. They installed drapes and wall hangings as well as re-arranged furniture and accessories to achieve the look that we wanted. We could not be happier with the result – their ideas and hard work transformed our rooms into something beautiful. They are always friendly, cheerful, helpful, and very easy to work with.

Richard Cable is immensely talented and professional. He did a remodel project for me this summer. It was specific and he stayed within budget. It was also very beautiful. Our entire condo was reconfigured to give us all the space and functionality we needed. He and Brian are a joy to work with, they both go way above and beyond what is asked of them. I will use them again on another project I have coming up.

Relationship Our builder uses their services We are in the process of building a house. Richard has been a wealth of knowledge. His guidance in the design of the kitchen, color selections throughout the house and product selections has been outstanding! We are very pleased as Richard is very diligent down to the smallest detail. Building a house is a trying time with so many decisions to be made but Richard calmed our nerves and guided us through the whole process.
